This is your page. On it, you can add photos, write something about yourself, rant and rave, passions and peeves, whatever you want to make public.

1. Go to MEMBERS AREA and log in.

2. Go to WHO WE ARE and then DURUS.

3. You should see a little pencil icon in the upper left or right corner above this text. Click on the icon.

4. a screen should open that says EDITOR. That's this. You can delete all of this text as you add your own material.

5. Cut and paste any text you want to include.

6. At the bottom of this screen is a button that says "Image". Click that button. Now you'll see BROWSE and START UPLOAD buttons at the bottom left of the pane. Use BROWSE to navigate to the directory on YOUR computer to get the picture you want. On your computer, click to select the picture, choose open, then in the website pane, click START UPLOAD.Don't change the directory on the remote computer (Big Sky's website) - put your picture in this default directory.

I see here that you did manage to upload a picture - it's a great picture, it's just too big. I resized it in Photoshop so that it is 72 dpi and 350-450 pixels wide, and uploaded it to Durus' page.

7. Once you've uploaded the image, click on it and you'll see IMAGE URL, IMAGE DESCRIPTION AND IMAGE TITLE.

Leave IMAGE URL blank.

Image description is the caption that will show up if you click the "caption" box.

Image title could be the file name or Durus or whatever you want. This is the title that will show up if someone has images disabled on their own computer (like a blind person, for instance. Then their computer will "read" them the title.)

8. Once you have those filled in, click INSERT and the picture will appear in this pane.

9. Now go down to PUBLISHING. Make sure the SECTION and CATEGORY say "Members"  and that Published is YES and Show on Front Page is No.

10. Metadata is the information that a search engine like Google will display. Add a description (Durus in the mountains outside Livingston Montana) and keywords (Durus vom Geiswasser,Big Sky Schutzhund Club). The keywords are separated by commas.

11. Hit SAVE and that should be it.

12. Go back to MEMBERS AREA and log out.

I really appreciate you giving this a try! I spent a lot of time converting this website over so that members would be able to edit and update their own information, so it's nice that you're willing to give it a try.
